After 37 years at the helm, brothers Evan and Larry Meyers are passing the reins to their daughters Jacquie and Natalie Meyers.

Jacquie Meyers, daughter of Evan Meyers, is stepping into the role of president of the MTS group of companies. Natalie Meyers, daughter of Larry Meyers, will assume the role of chairperson.

As president, Jacquie will be focused on growth, sustainability and logistics. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of McGill, the same school where company founder, A.J. Meyers earned his Civil Engineering degree 102 years earlier.

Jacquie has worked in the industry for over eight years in pricing, operations, and sales. She has also successfully managed Mosaic Logistics for the last two years. She is bilingual and recently completed her CITT designation.

As chairperson, Natalie will be focused on our operations, safety, administration and finance. She has an economics degree from the Université de Franche Comté à Besançon in France, and has spent eight years in the federal government at Public Works Canada in facilities and property management. She joined Meyers in 1995, where she rose to the position of vice president of eastern operations.

Meyers Transport, founded in 1927, has been nurtured by the Meyers family through the generations. Don Meyers took the helm from A.J. and in turn sold the business to his sons in 1972. Evan and Larry plan continue to support the new leadership as directors of the company.
